Job summary

Judge & Priestley LLP in Bromley seeks a robust housing litigator to join our team of solicitors and paralegals. You will manage a busy caseload across disrepair, possession, and injunction matters, while delivering excellent client service and supervising support staff.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in housing matters, including landlord/tenant and AST/leasehold issues, and a proactive approach to networking and time-billing targets.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in housing litigation within a solicitor’s firm or in-house.
• Experience handling a busy caseload including disrepair, possession and injunctions.
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant matters, ASTs and leasehold issues desirable.
• Proven client care in private practice and ability to meet targets.
• Experience in marketing, networking and supervising staff noted.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy caseload of housing litigation matters.
• Defend disrepair claims, possession, civil injunctions and EPA/ASB/fraud.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters including AST/leasehold issues.
• Maintain excellent client care and professional standards.
• Participate in firm marketing and networking activities.
• Supervise secretarial and junior staff; work with support teams.
• Meet monthly time recording and billing targets.
