Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking a Housing Led Officer to support customers experiencing homelessness, helping them build stable, independent futures through intensive, flexible and person-centred support. Based at Time Square, Bracknell, the role requires managing a small caseload and working from home as part of hybrid arrangements.

This is a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract with opportunities for flexible working and a strong emphasis on safeguarding and collaboration with partner

Qualifications

• Experience delivering intensive, person-centred support to customers with complex needs.
• Ability to manage a small caseload and work in customers' homes.
• Experience assessing risks and developing resettlement plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, person-centred support to homeless customers with complex needs.
• Manage a small caseload and deliver intensive, ongoing support for up to two years.
• Deliver support in customers’ homes and the community, tailored to individual needs.
• Work with customers around treatment and other support needs, promoting independence and tenancy sustainment.
• Support flexible working arrangements including hybrid/remote options.
• Contribute to safeguarding, risk assessments and progression towards permanent accommodation.
