Job summary

States of Guernsey is seeking a Housing Inspector on a full-time basis to assist in administering the maintenance programme for the Committee's properties and estates. You will identify required works, arrange and monitor their implementation, and take ownership of designated areas, ensuring work is completed to best practice and health and safety standards.

To assist in administering the maintenance programme, renovation and management for the Committee's properties and estates, by identifying the work required and arranging/monitoring its implementation.

The Housing Inspector has "ownership" of specific areas and tasks designated to them. They manage and organise the work required to a suitable standard and in accordance with best practice, States policies, legislative requirements, and current Health & Safety standards.
