Job summary

Tai Tarian Ltd is seeking an experienced Income Team Leader to manage an Income Team, ensuring rent accounts are managed to prevent arrears and maximise income recovery. The role includes supporting officers in complex cases, attending court as required, and providing leadership for welfare benefits advice.

This is a fixed-term 12-month contract with a starting salary of £43,448 after key competencies are met.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in a related subject or equivalent experience.
• Level 3 Leadership qualification, or a commitment to work towards.
• Proven track record of dealing with complex cases and complaints.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Lead an operational Income Team including Benefits Specialists to maximise income recovery.
• Support officers in reviewing complex cases and provide guidance.
• Attend court as required and represent the team when needed.
• Deliver high-quality welfare benefits advice and income maximisation services.
