Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Housing Officer to coordinate housing and estate services in Chalkhill, London. The role is temporary and hybrid, with an hourly umbrella rate of £30.06.

You will develop multi-agency links, handle complaints, and lead tenant associations to deliver high-quality customer service. The ideal candidate will drive, liaise with MPs and councillors, and ensure compliance with housing legislation while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing Leasehold & shared ownership tenures.
• Knowledge of housing and anti-social behaviour legislation.
• Ability to build relationships with local stakeholders.
• Proven record of delivering customer-focused services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain local multi-agency links to deliver efficient, coordinated services.
• Manage complaints effectively and maintain high customer service standards.
• Engage with local stakeholders and respond to enquiries from MPs, Councillors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead tenant and resident associations, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for residents and the organisation.
• Conduct regular estate inspections and monitor service contracts to ensure high standards.
• Manage complex tenancy and lease-related issues, including handling ASB cases and tenancy enforcement.
• Conduct viewings, manage new tenancy sign-ups, and ensure the well-being of new customers.
