Job summary

Williamsburgh Housing Association is recruiting a Compliance Co-ordinator to support statutory compliance across our housing stock and ensure high standards of landlord health and safety. You will plan, monitor and deliver programmes for gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water hygiene, lifting equipment and more, keeping records audit-ready and building contractor performance.

Qualifications

• HNC in Construction management or working towards the qualification.
• Experience supporting compliance programmes within housing, property or technical services.
• Experience working within a Scottish Housing Association or Registered Social Landlord environment.
• Strong knowledge of landlord health and safety compliance requirements including gas, electrical, fire, asbestos and water hygiene regulations.
• Experience interpreting technical information and managing compliance data.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence to work effectively with contractors, tenants and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of statutory compliance programmes across the property portfolio (gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, water hygiene, lifting equipment, damp and mould, etc.).
• Monitor compliance performance, maintain accurate records and certification.
• Produce compliance reports, dashboards and assurance information for senior management and the Management Committee.
• Support contractor management and performance monitoring.
• Assist with risk management, audits, regulatory assurance and continuous improvement activities.
