Oldham Council’s Housing team invites applications for an Apprentice Level 4 - Housing and Communities Project Management based at Spindles Offices, Oldham. This fixed-term apprenticeship (18 months) offers hands-on experience delivering the Housing Change Programme.

You will work across housing projects, assisting with planning, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder communications, with mentoring from an experienced Project Manager within the Transformation Service to develop practical

Formación

• Sufficient literacy and numeracy to undertake the tasks and duties of the role.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience of completing tasks to deadlines.
• Experience of researching and collating information.

Responsabilidades

• Support the delivery of projects and service improvement initiatives within the Housing Change Programme.
• Assist in the planning, monitoring, and reporting of project activities, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Preparing agendas, requesting agenda items, and chasing follow up actions where appropriate.
• Assisting with investigatory work, research and information gathering to contribute to support project development and decision-making.
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, presentations, reports, and communications for a range of stakeholders.
• Attend project, programme, and stakeholder meetings, recording actions and monitoring progress against agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is up to date and accessible.
• Apply project management tools, techniques, and best practice principles learned through the apprenticeship programme to support successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, ensuring work undertaken contributes towards the achievement of the apprenticeship qualification.
