Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Housing Benefits Administration.
• Experience with Subsidy Claims, Returns and Audits.
• Knowledge of Housing Benefit Regulations and DWP Guidance.
• Ability to liaise with auditors and produce accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process Housing Benefit claims in line with legislation.
• Conduct subsidy checks and verify claims.
• Prepare and submit Subsidy Returns and Claims.
• Collaborate with auditors during subsidy audits.
• Identify subsidy risks and improve performance.
• Maximise subsidy income while minimising losses.
• Monitor quality and identify improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on subsidy regulations.
• Maintain records to meet audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with subsidy legislation and guidance.
