Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Housing Benefit overpayment recovery officer to support HB debt recovery processes, PDP recovery, and entitlement checks. The role involves ensuring overpayments are correctly reduced and applied.

The candidate will investigate historical HB debts within the system and work with Northgate/NEC systems. Hybrid role with two office days per week is available.

Responsibilities

• HB regulations and recovery methods - PDP recovery, on-going benefit overpayment recovery, underline entitlement to reduce overpayment debt (make sure it has been applied)
• Investigate old HB debt in the system
• Northgate/NEC system experience
• Can manage 2 days per week in the office
