Job summary

Torus Group is seeking an Under One Roof Advisor for a minimum 9-month maternity cover fixed-term contract at Bank Park House, Warrington. You will assess housing applications, determine eligibility and priority, and support customers through their housing journey via multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a housing allocations role with knowledge of allocations policies and nomination processes.
• Experience using Property Pool Plus, Under One Roof, or similar choice-based lettings systems.
• Ability to assess housing applications, review evidence and make fair, evidence-based decisions.
• Strong customer service skills to support applicants through the allocations process.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with partner landlords and external agencies.
• Ability to interpret policies consistently with sound judgement and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Confident with digital systems to manage applications, case records and customer information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused housing allocations service through the Under One Roof scheme.
• Assess housing applications, review evidence and determine eligibility and priority.
• Support customers during their housing journey via telephone, email and online channels.
• Manage property adverts, shortlisting and nominations to ensure fair and efficient allocations.
• Liaise with partner landlords and external organisations to progress nominations and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data protection and service standards compliance.
• Identify customers needing extra support and signpost to appropriate services.
