Job summary

Center Parcs Group at Whinfell Forest is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping - Service Support Assistant to keep our accommodation guest-ready. You will clean and prepare lodges, move and replenish linen and supplies, support laundry and stores, and carry out checks and minor maintenance tasks.

This role offers various part-time contracts with a guaranteed minimum of 64, 72 or 120 hours over a 4-week period, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach to guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness, presentation and safety.
• Able to identify issues, report defects and seek practical solutions.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy, physical, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare and support accommodation areas to agreed standards, including deep-cleaning tasks when required.
• Deliver, collect and replenish linen, towels, furniture, cleaning materials and inventory across accommodation and village locations.
• Support stock, stores, laundry and logistics activity, including receiving deliveries, loading and unloading vehicles, and completing records accurately.
• Carry out guest-ready, health and safety or smoke detector checks where required, reporting defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to guests and colleagues while working safely, efficiently and to high standards.
• Work flexibly across different Housekeeping support activities, which may include outdoor work and manual handling tasks.

Housekeeping - Service Support Assistant

Whinfell Forest | £12.87 per hour

Help keep our accommodation guest-ready

Support the smooth running of our Housekeeping operation by helping to keep our accommodation clean, safe, well-stocked and ready for guests. This hands-on role may include cleaning and deep-cleaning lodges, moving and replenishing linen, towels, furniture and inventory, supporting laundry and stores activity, completing checks, reporting defects and providing helpful service across the village.

What you'll be doing

Your working hours

• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 64, 72 or 120 hoursover a 4 ‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you
