Job summary

Warner Hotels Group at Bodelwyddan Castle in North Wales is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member to deliver high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. You will work across public spaces and guest rooms, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for all guests.

The role includes night security patrols, reporting any issues to managers, and supporting overnight operations. Training is provided for newcomers, with strong benefits and development opportunities.

• Willing to train newcomers to housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Complete public area cleaning: lounges, corridors, reception, toilets and guest spaces.
• Carry out night security patrols across the hotel and grounds.
• Monitor and report security concerns, incidents, hazards or maintenance issues to management.
• Support overnight operations and respond to guest requests as required.
• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms, bathrooms and suites to standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds and replace towels and amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and empty bins.
• Report maintenance issues or lost property to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Restock cleaning trolleys and manage linen stock levels.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Any other tasks as requested by the line manager.

Job description

Join our team at Bodelwyddan Castle, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This Grade II listed Victorian building near the North Wales Coast houses a modern 238-bedroom hotel with a superb range of leisure facilities and numerous daily activities.,

• Completing public area cleaning, ensuring lounges, corridors, reception areas, toilets, and other guest-facing spaces are clean, presentable, and welcoming.
• Carrying out security patrols across the hotel and grounds during night shifts, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.
• Monitoring and reporting any security concerns, incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues to the relevant manager.
• Supporting the smooth running of hotel operations during overnight shifts and responding to guest requests where required.
• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and suites to standards.
• Changing bed linens, making beds, and replacing towels and guest amenities.
• Vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, mopping floors, and emptying bins.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
• Restocking cleaning trolleys and manage linen stock levels.
• Following all health, safety, and hygiene guideline

As well as any other tasks your line manager asks you to do. We're happy to train you if you've never worked in a Housekeeping team before.
