We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Lead to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Housekeeping Lead to join our team at our Shepton Mallet hospital. This role involves leading the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and patient satisfaction.

37.5 hours per week, working between 1 am and 6 pm. The schedule includes some weekends, as we operate Monday through Sunday. For a virtual tour of the hospital, please see the video below.

Main Duties of the Job

• Implement and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including NHS National Cleaning Standards.
• Maintain an accurate stock management system, including receiving, checking, and stock control.
• Handle financial procedures related to ordering and invoicing, including raising purchase orders and validating invoices.
• Complete statutory and monitoring procedures as required.
• Supervise and support the housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
