Job summary

Clarence Park Care Home in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents with complex needs. You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and support laundry services while following infection control and safety procedures.

The role offers paid DBS, pension and uniform provided; 5.6 weeks annual leave on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting is welcome but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Contribute to a well organised, hygienic environment where residents feel respected.
