Job summary

Clarence Park Care Home in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment in a specialist complex care setting, including laundry responsibilities.

You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, follow infection prevention procedures and work closely with the team to support high hygiene standards and a comfortable living space for residents.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of hygiene, infection control and safe working practices is beneficial
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential

Responsibilities

• Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene and presentation
• Supporting laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly
• Following infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures
• Contributing to a well organised, hygienic and comfortable environment
