Job summary

Floryn House Care Home is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Harwell to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment while supporting laundry services. This hands-on role rewards attention to detail and a focus on residents' comfort and dignity.

You will clean rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, assist with laundry and keep items clearly labelled, following infection control and safety procedures. Alternate weekends apply.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying and ironing, labeling items.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Work with the team to maintain a well organised and comfortable environment.
