Job summary

Floryn House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents. You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas and help with laundry, labeling and handling clothing with care.

Working with infection control and health and safety procedures, you will contribute to high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial
• Previous experience welcomed but not essential

Responsibilities

• Cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing clearly labelled
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures
• Work alternate weekends
