Job summary

Alexander House Care Home in Exeter is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and to support laundry services for 67 residents. This is a hands-on role with attention to detail and teamwork in a busy care setting.

You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene, assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying and ironing, and follow infection control and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Cleaning of residents' rooms and communal areas to a high hygiene standard.
• Ability to follow infection prevention and health & safety procedures.
• Willingness to support laundry duties and labeling of clothing.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing.
• Follow infection control and health & safety procedures in daily tasks.
• Work alternate weekends as required.
