Job summary

The Sycamores Care Home is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant/Kitchen Assistant to help keep a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents in Hyde. This is a varied, hands-on role including laundry duties and ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.

You will work a 20-hour week with a dual responsibility for kitchen and housekeeping tasks, and you’ll be supported by DBS payment, uniform, and other benefits as part of Care Concern Group.

Qualifications

• Positive, reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying and ironing with care.
• Work with the team following infection control and safety procedures.
