Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for its 40-bed home near Rochdale. You will maintain a clean environment, assist with laundry, and support infection control and safety procedures, helping residents feel respected and comfortable.

The role offers a 0-hour contract with pay of £13.45–£13.95 per hour, plus benefits such as DBS paid, pension, and uniform. Prior experience is welcome but not required, and you will join a friendly, team‑focused workplace.

Job description

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing. You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
