Job summary

Cedar Court Bradford is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join the team for evening shifts from 4pm, cleaning guest rooms and servicing public areas to the hotel’s standards.

This 20-hour-per-week contract covers lobby, reception, toilets and other spaces, with opportunities for training, career progression and staff benefits including meals on duty and pension.

You will support the Guest Service Team with cleaning-related tasks and may assist the wider Housekeeping Team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest accommodation areas to company standards, including bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of lobby, reception, toilets and public spaces.
• Assist Guest Service Team with cleaning-related tasks and respond to guest requests.
• Support wider Housekeeping Team with room cleaning when required.

The hotel is a substantial operation with 131 bedrooms, a busy restaurant and bar, extensive conference and events facilities, and on-site leisure. We're looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our Team.

This is a contracted, 20 hour per week position.

This role will be working predominatently evenings starting at 4pm,cleaning and servicing guest accommodation areas to company standards. THis will include and supporting the cleanliness, presentation and upkeep of the lobby, reception, toilets and public spaces across the Hotel. The role also involves assisting the Guest Service Team with cleaning-related tasks, maintaining high standards across the Hotel responding positively to guest requests and helping to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and visitors. There may be times when you will be required to support the wider Housekeeping Team with room cleaning.
