Job summary

The Lindsay Care Home, Poole, is hiring a Part-time Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain high cleanliness standards and create a welcoming environment for residents.

The role offers a 14 hour contract at £13.10 per hour (weekends). You’ll work with the housekeeping team to keep all areas in top condition and support residents’ comfort and dignity through attentive cleaning and stock management.

Qualifications

• Maintains high standards of cleanliness in all areas.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests.
• Works with housekeeping and maintenance teams to keep residents happy.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and maintain communal areas and bedrooms.
• Manage housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use.
• Raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff. Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up‑keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms. You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.

Key Skills / Qualifications

• You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
