Job summary

Bupa’s St Georges Care Home in Cobham is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high cleanliness standards and support a warm, welcoming environment for residents. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, 7am-3pm with alternate weekends, offering a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

You will work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep communal areas and residents’ bedrooms pristine, ensuring residents feel at home and cared for every day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and keep communal areas and residents' bedrooms tidy.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
• You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
