Job summary

Bupa’s Wingham Court Care Home in Claygate is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant on a bank contract. You will upkeep high cleanliness standards, support the care home’s welcoming atmosphere, and assist with upkeep of resident rooms and communal areas. £13.30–£14.30 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working with housekeeping and maintenance staff.

• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and maintain communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
• Manage housekeeping stocks and raise issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy.
• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
• Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
