Housekeeping Assistant

£12.58 per hour

Keeping our hospitals clean is a top priority. We are looking for a Housekeeper to help us create a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing various areas, using the latest equipment and products, supported by a comprehensive training program. You will take pride in your work and undertake responsibilities such as room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection, and deep cleaning.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will:

• Care about our patients to organize your work and plan your time with support from our Heads of Housekeeping, ensuring cleaning does not interfere with the patient experience.

• Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills, essential when working with colleagues and interacting with patients.

• Be motivated, friendly, flexible, and ideally experienced in a similar role. Ensure cleaning processes are followed, maintaining a clean, pleasant, and safe environment for patients.

• Work closely with the Infection Prevention team, reporting incidents to relevant team members.
