Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant - Bank for Carrstone House Care Home in Downham Market. You will work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards across the home, following our housekeeping and laundry SOPs to deliver hotel-style service.

The role requires knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH, plus experience cleaning in public settings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and maintaining areas in good condition.
• Ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect, protecting their personal space and belongings.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
• Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
