Job summary

At Avery Healthcare, Rosebery Manor Care Home in Epsom, Surrey is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant to join a caring, award-winning team. You will maintain cleanliness and laundry standards, work with our SOPs, and contribute to a respectful, resident-centered environment.

You will be part of a close-knit team committed to compassionate care, adhering to health and safety guidelines and delivering hotel-standard housekeeping to residents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
• The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
