Job summary

The Royal Household is seeking a hospitality professional to join our housekeeping team at Windsor Castle. The role focuses on upkeep, cleaning and care for interiors and items, ensuring they are presented to the highest standards and supporting guests during events.

You'll gain specialist skills, work with colleagues, and help deliver extraordinary service in incredible surroundings. Accommodation is provided if required, with training and development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience would be an advantage but not essential.
• You should be proactive, able to tackle new challenges and work well in a team.
• Good time management, reliability and punctuality are important.
• Take pride in delivering the highest standards of service and care.
• Keen to learn new skills and progress a hospitality career.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for a wide range of interiors and items, ensuring presentation to the highest standards.
• Provide support front-of-house for events and guest services as required.
• Work as part of a professional team to deliver exceptional service in Windsor surroundings.

Your main workplace will be Windsor Castle (accommodation provided if required), you'll also travel to other Royal residences up to three months throughout the year.

About you

Essential Criteria

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience would be an advantage but is not essential. We're more interested in your proactive approach and ability to tackle new challenges. We are looking for candidates with the below skill set:

• Ability to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team. Happy to get involved in a range of tasks and support others.
• Able to use initiative and possess a motivated, pro-active attitude.
• Possess good time management skills, be able to prioritise tasks and be reliable and punctual.
• With attention to detail, you'll take pride in your work to provide the highest standards of service and care.
• Keen to learn new skills and develop a hospitality career.
