Job summary

Cinnamon is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant for The Gables in Hagley, near Stourbridge, a luxury 61-bed residential and dementia care home. This part-time role covers 16 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with full training and development opportunities provided.

You will ensure the home, furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting high hygiene standards and contributing to a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of performing housekeeping tasks with or without aids.
• Compassionate and caring approach with residents.
• Team player who can prioritise workload.
• Good communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry in residential care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home, furnishings, equipment and linen clean and hygienic.
• Support high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Provide reliable housekeeping and laundry support as part of the team.
