Connaught Care is seeking a thoughtful Housekeeping Assistant to join our luxury care home group. You’ll help keep rooms and shared areas immaculate, supporting residents’ comfort and dignity from morning to night.

With a focus on infection control and respectful service, you’ll work closely with care and hospitality teams, build warm relationships with residents, and take pride in making the home feel welcoming and well-kept.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in care, hotels, or hospitality is ideal but not essential.
• Good eye for detail and quiet pride in getting the small things right.
• Understanding of how a clean, well-kept space contributes to dignity and wellbeing.
• Respectful, professional, and discreet approach; desire to make a difference behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation in residents’ rooms and shared areas.
• Support daily laundry services, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are handled with care and respect.
• Follow infection control, COSHH, and health & safety policies with diligence.
• Work closely with the care and hospitality teams to deliver a seamless, five-star experience.
• Build positive relationships with residents, being a friendly and respectful presence in their daily lives.
• Take pride in making the home feel beautifully kept, comfortable, and ready for guests at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing:
