Connaught Care is seeking a thoughtful Housekeeping Assistant for our Swindon home. You’ll maintain high cleanliness standards, support laundry, and work closely with care and hospitality teams to deliver a five-star experience.

The role emphasizes dignity and comfort for residents, with a focus on quiet, respectful presence and behind-the-scenes contribution to care. Excellent attention to detail and a caring demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in care, hotels, or hospitality.
• A good eye for detail and pride in getting the small things right.
• An understanding of how a clean, well-kept space contributes to dignity and wellbeing.
• A respectful, professional, and discreet approach.

• Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation in residents’ rooms and shared areas.
• Support daily laundry services, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are handled with care and respect.
• Follow infection control, COSHH, and health & safety policies with diligence.
• Work closely with the care and hospitality teams to deliver a seamless, five-star experience.
• Build positive relationships with residents, being a friendly and respectful presence in their daily lives.
• Take pride in making the home feel beautifully kept, comfortable, and ready for guests at all times.

Working Hours: 21 hours inclusive of every other weekend - 7 hour shifts - 7am - 2pm

What You’ll Be Doing:
