Job summary

Connaught Care Collection is seeking a thoughtful Kitchen Assistant to join our hospitality team in ST NEOTS. You’ll support chefs, keep the kitchen clean, help plate meals, and contribute to a warm, dignified mealtime experience for residents.

We value high hygiene standards, a positive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided and you’ll be part of a close-knit team in a luxury care home setting.

• Support our Chef de Parties, Sous Chefs and Head Chefs with food prep, service and kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout each shift.
• Help plate and present meals with care and consistency.
• Keep the kitchen well-stocked, organised and running like clockwork.
• Assist with washing up and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth service.
• Be a warm, friendly presence behind the scenes—residents will notice your energy, even if they don’t see you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
