The Palace Hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts in Southend-on-Sea, is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member for a part-time role of 24 hours per week over a fixed 3-month term during summer. The Palace Hotel, Southend-on-Sea – Housekeeping Team Member

The Palace Hotel, Southend-on-Sea, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a passionate Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. We are operating a 137‑room property identified as Garner. The role is part‑time, 24 hours per week, for a fixed 3‑month term during the busy summer season.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the highest standards, ensuring rooms are presented impeccably for arriving guests.
• Replenish guest amenities and report any maintenance issues or lost property in line with hotel procedures.
• Work closely with the wider Housekeeping team to ensure service areas are clean, organised and fully stocked.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail while working efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences through excellent attention to detail and a positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
