ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Housekeeping Assistant involves working as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained within the home. You will follow our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are met.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Carrying out cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements for different surfaces and coverings, and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Respecting residents’ dignity and personal belongings at all times.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices, particularly Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Compassion and a commitment to providing high-quality housekeeping and laundry services to residents.
• The ability to be adaptable and flexible to cover various responsibilities at short notice.
