We are seeking an experienced Therapist Assistant for Highfield House, a 45-bed purpose-built care centre providing specialist care. We offer a complimentary minibus service from Purley station for staff.

We are also looking for a Domestic Cleaner. Our care centres in West Norwood, Purley, and Banstead serve individuals with complex neurological and respiratory conditions.

Scope

The Housekeeping Assistant will perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, including bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, clinical rooms, sluice rooms, therapy rooms, communal areas, offices, changing rooms, stairs, and corridors.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to cleaning schedules, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards.
• Demonstrate courtesy and kindness when working with residents.
• Work effectively within the Housekeeping Team, upholding the home’s core values.
• Coordinate with management and staff for unexpected cleaning tasks.
• Store cleaning materials safely per COSHH regulations and maintain equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and attend relevant training sessions, including health and safety, safeguarding, infection control, manual handling, first aid, CPR, food hygiene, equality, diversity, and fire safety.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• No formal qualifications required; experience in cleaning or laundry is beneficial.
• Be reliable, consistent, and a team player.
• Full training will be provided to ensure competence in duties.
