Job summary

Thurnby Fields in Leicester is seeking a hardworking Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our luxurious residential and dementia care home. You will help keep the home, furnishings and linen clean and safe to high hygiene standards, with full training provided and opportunities for career development.

Part-time 24 hours per week. We offer paid breaks, uniforms, staff meals and a supportive team environment in a prestigious care setting.

Qualifications

• Physically and medically able to carry out duties as required.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive and adaptable.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Effective communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the home, furnishings and linen.
• Ensure safe and clean environment in line with high standards.
• Support with laundry tasks and general housekeeping duties.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Housekeeping/Laundry Assistants to join our team. You will ensure that our stunning home, its furnishings, equipment and linen are clean and safe at all times, meeting our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
