Location: Fountains Lodge Care Home - 13 – 17 London Road, Southborough, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 0RJ

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday, including public holidays. 7am-3pm / 9am-5pm. Occasionally 7am-5pm if required.

Requirements: Care home experience (or similar) in a busy environment. Laundry experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.

Role Overview: Housekeeping Assistants are passionate about tidiness and helping others. They create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring that every detail counts, and work together to make our residents feel at home.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and ensuring the upkeep of communal areas and residents’ bedrooms.
• Managing housekeeping supplies for daily use and reporting issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

• Ability to complete work to a high standard and maintain an organized environment.
• Multitasking skills and the ability to work with other teams to ensure residents’ satisfaction.
