Royal Mail P&FS is recruiting for Cleaning Operatives at Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre

Job Reference Number: 324643

Pay: £13.15 per hour

Benefits: 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, and Defined Contribution pension scheme, plus car parking.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Part-time, 31.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.

As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will work from 14:00 to 19:15, either as part of a team or as the sole cleaner on site, ensuring high standards of service.

About the Role

You will be responsible for tasks such as mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitising surfaces to a high standard, safely and professionally.

Full training will be provided, including a first-day induction. The role involves manual handling and physical activity.

About You

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. You should be friendly, reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with customers and managers while following health & safety regulations.

You should be able to work independently, organise your own time, and be comfortable working remotely.
