Bowood Court Care Home is seeking a Part Time Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with laundry. The role is 20 hours per week, days shifts, with a focus on high hygiene standards and resident comfort.
In this role you will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas and assist with laundry tasks, following infection control and safety procedures. DBS, pension and uniform are provided; 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on full-time entitlement.

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
