About The Role

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care homes. As a Housekeeping Assistant, your role will involve maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning duties, you will do so with kindness and care.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. Your positive energy, natural ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and instructing—are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues alike.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should feel confident in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
