ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Housekeeping Assistant involves working as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained within the home. You will follow our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are upheld.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and their personal space and belongings are always respected.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.

• The ability to be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
