About The Role

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities as a Housekeeping Assistant will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the environment you uphold. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning duties, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. Beyond that, your positive energy, natural ability to communicate effectively, and considerate attitude are essential. You will be skilled at listening and giving clear instructions, always communicating with kindness and respect.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
