Job summary

Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch invites applications for a Housekeeping Assistant on a full-time contract. You will help maintain high cleanliness standards across resident bedrooms, communal areas and shared spaces, supporting daily routines and resident wellbeing.

We offer £12.71 per hour, 5.6 weeks annual leave for full-time staff, PVG and pension, plus uniform provided. This role fits someone with attention to detail, reliability and pride in creating a warm, safe, well-presented

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent standards.
• Understanding of hygiene, infection prevention and health and safety procedures is beneficial.
• Ability to support both housekeeping and laundry responsibilities where required.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional approach with pride in maintaining a well organised environment.
• Positive attitude and understanding of the importance of comfort and resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident bedrooms, communal areas and shared spaces.
• Assist with laundry services and ensure clothing, bedding and personal belongings are handled carefully and returned promptly to residents.
• Keep the home organised, safe and welcoming at all times.
• Work as part of the wider team to support daily housekeeping routines.
