Job summary

Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch invites applications for a Housekeeping Assistant on a full-time contract. You will help maintain high cleanliness standards across resident bedrooms, communal areas and shared spaces, supporting daily routines and resident wellbeing.

We offer £12.71 per hour, 5.6 weeks annual leave for full-time staff, PVG and pension, plus uniform provided. This role fits someone with attention to detail, reliability and pride in creating a warm, safe, well-presented

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent standards.
Understanding of hygiene, infection prevention and health and safety procedures is beneficial.
Ability to support both housekeeping and laundry responsibilities where required.
Reliable, hardworking and professional approach with pride in maintaining a well organised environment.
Positive attitude and understanding of the importance of comfort and resident wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across resident bedrooms, communal areas and shared spaces.
Assist with laundry services and ensure clothing, bedding and personal belongings are handled carefully and returned promptly to residents.
Keep the home organised, safe and welcoming at all times.
Work as part of the wider team to support daily housekeeping routines.
