Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our healthcare cleaning team, contracted to 20 hours per week. You will help maintain hygienic environments for clients and patients and support the cleaning team in daily duties.

The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills, a hands-on approach and flexibility with shifts. Previous cleaning experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming to a high standard.
• Sanitising surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Restocking cleaning supplies and monitoring stock levels.
• Work with cleaning teams to maintain hygienic environments.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Healthcare, contracted to 20 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
