A renowned care provider is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Coventry to maintain cleanliness in their care homes. About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Note: We have two roles available, one for 20 hours/week and another for 30 hours/week.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the environment you maintain. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills. A positive attitude, good energy, and the ability to get along with people are essential. You should be a good communicator, skilled at listening and giving instructions, and always considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
