About The Role

In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities as a Housekeeping Assistant will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and attention to detail.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving instructions, are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act on concerns. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional relevant training. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately.
