Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our team and deliver outstanding cleaning services across our facilities. The role covers 22.5 hours per week and is contracted to 40 weeks per year, with shifts 5 days out of 7.

You will clean and maintain various areas, ensuring safety and high standards of cleanliness for staff and visitors. Ideal candidates have prior cleaning experience, a passion for customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar role.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the building.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors and touchpoints regularly.
• Carry out additional cleaning duties as required, such as spill cleanups.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Ensure areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors.

We're currently recruiting a part time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Chartwells, contracted to 22.5 hours per week. As one of our committed Housekeepers, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors. Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days Please note: This role is contracted to 40 weeks per year Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment
  Have cleaning experience in a similar role
• Be passionate about customer service
• Effectively communicate with customers and other team members
• Be able to work individually and as part of a team
