Job summary

We are working with a college near Oxford City centre seeking several Housekeepers/Scouts for temporary work with a view to permanent employment. 25-30 hours per week over 5 days (6am-12pm or 7am-12pm) in college buildings, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas.

Duties include making beds, reporting issues, and maintaining safety standards within college policies. Roles are casual with the possibility of permanent appointment if performance is satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning a variety of College buildings, including student bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, Fellows' rooms, and communal areas to the highest standards
• Making up beds and preparing rooms for guest occupancy
• Removing rubbish and recycling to designated collection areas
• Reporting any maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, or breaches of College rules
• Helping to ensure the security of College buildings by reporting any suspicious activity or hazards
• Maintaining a safe working environment in line with College Health and Safety policies
• Supporting colleagues and covering duties where needed

25-30 hours per week- 5 days out of 7 (either 6am to 12pm or 7am to 12pm)
