Job summary

Siamo Recruitment is working with a leading holiday home specialist in the Cotswolds to recruit a Housekeeper. The role involves keeping properties guest-ready, clean and well stocked, while supporting operational needs and coordinating contractors.

You will help maintain high standards, manage laundry and stock, and contribute to smooth property changeovers, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is essential.
• Experience in holiday lettings is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and a detail-oriented approach.
• Full UK driving license and own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure properties are presented to the highest standards and guest-ready before arrivals.
• Provide exceptional guest experiences with clean, stocked, and operational properties.
• Manage laundry and linen, and oversee stock levels.
• Conduct property inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Support housekeeping teams to maintain standards across properties.
• Check heating, air conditioning and hot water systems where relevant.
• Monitor consumables and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with property changeovers and contractor coordination.

Due to continued success and operational changes our client is looking for a Housekeeper to join their growing business but with a twist.

This twist will have you supporting with operational demands and managing contractors and stock along with the general Housekeeping duties.

This is a role offering development, additional responsibility and allows the ideal candidate to add their personal touch.

This Housekeeper role will hold the below responsibilities:

• Play a key role in ensuring properties are consistently presented to the highest standards and are fully guest-ready before every arrival
• Provide exceptional guest experiences by ensuring that every property is clean, fully stocked, operational and guest-ready at all times
• Laundry & linen management
• Property inspections & quality assurance
• Supporting housekeeping teams to maintain standards
• Checking heating, air conditioning and hot water systems
• Monitoring of stock levels and order replacement of guest consumables
• Identify and report maintenance issues
• Supporting property changeovers

The ideal candidate for this Housekeeper role will hold the below experience, skills and qualifications:

• Previous Housekeeping experience is essential
• Previous experience working in holiday lettings would be advantageous
• Previous management experience would be advantageous
• Naturally a problem solving with the want to take ownerships of tasks
• A passionate individual with a best in category mentality
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse with all levels
• Attentive with an eye for detail
• Full UK Driving License and Own Vehicle
